Print to Video

I'm trying to put a copy of my edited timeline back on my Canon HV20 but it won't record on my camera. I'm using

firewire 800 that I used to capture earlier. I go to print to video and check automatically start recording, hit OK and

then again to start recording. The timeline comes up on my computer screen but nothing happens on my camera

which is set to camera mode. I know FCE is recognizing my camera because I went to Capture and it started to

record. Any Ideas?

Another problem I had was a few of my picts in a long slideshow would turn sideways for no reason. I got it corrected

but it was a lot of trouble. What would cause this?

Thanks.

I set the camera to play mode and adjusted my camera settings to av>dv--on (it was off.) There were no other relevant settings. I'm using a firewire 800 to the hdv/dv connection on the camera. When I go to "print to video" and select on,

the camera now shows the red record light but nothing else on the camera screen even though my computer is showing the video.

I wanted to make a 1080P tape copy of the finished video and watch it with a camera hookup to my tv and compare it to the dvd (it won't burn in 1080p.)

Thanks for your help. I'm going to give this up and go fishing.
